When it comes to powerhouse women in the music industry, Camila Cabello most definitely tops the list. From her voice to her dance moves and everything in between, the “Havana” songstress, 22, is a bona fide star!

However, being in the spotlight can sometimes mean dealing with speculation and as of late, a lot of fans are convinced that Camila has gone under the knife — specifically to change her nose.

With that, Life & Style spoke to Board Certified plastic surgeon Dr. Manish Shah to gain a better understanding of the potential work that Camila could have had done.

Dr. Shah, who has never operated on Camila, said, “From the angles and lighting, it does look like she has had a rhinoplasty. If so, this would be defined as a finesse rhinoplasty. You can see that her nose looks slimmer, especially right before the tip.”

“Her tip looks as if it has been rotated up a little bit to reduce a hooked appearance,” Dr. Manish continued. “The transformation is subtle, but really harmonizes beautifully with the rest of the angles and lines of her face. I love it!”

While Camila has never admitted to or publicly addressed getting plastic surgery, she’s no stranger to fiercely defending herself from body shaming. In August, the former Fifth Harmony member took to her Instagram Story to share a powerful message about beauty standards.

“Honestly, [the] first thing I felt was super insecure just IMAGINING what these pictures must look like. ‘Oh no! My cellulite! Oh no! I didn’t suck in my stomach!” Camila expressed, referring to negative fan comments at the time.

“But then I was like, of course there are bad pictures, of course there are bad angles, my body’s not made of f–king rock, or all muscle, for that matter, but the saddest part of young girls growing up in an airbrushed world is they’re seeking a perfection that’s not real,” she continued.

She concluded with, “I’m writing this for girls like my little sister who are growing up on social media. They’re constantly seeing Photoshopped, edited pictures and thinking that’s reality, and everyone’s eyes get used to seeing airbrushed skin, and suddenly they think THAT’S the norm?! It isn’t. It’s fake — AND FAKE IS BECOMING THE NEW REAL. We have a completely unrealistic view of a woman’s body. Girls, cellulite is normal, fat is normal. It’s beautiful and natural.”

Well said, Camila! Regardless of whether she’s gone under the knife or not, it’s all about feeling comfortable in the skin you’re in.
