Cara Delevingne Pens Sweet Birthday Message to Girlfriend Ashley Benson: ‘I Love You Beyond Words’
Going strong! Cara Delevingne wrote the sweetest birthday message to girlfriend Ashley Benson to celebrate the Pretty Little Liars actress turning 30 on December 18. The couple stirred up split rumors when the model tweeted that they “broke up” — although it’s believed that her account was hacked. However, Cara’s tribute to Ashley proves that things are A-OK between the two.
“Happy birthday [Ashley Benson]. There is so much I could say but something I love and cherish most about us is that I don’t need to because YOU KNOW and that’s all that matters,” the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram with a slew of intimate photos. One snapshot showed the two kissing in a bathtub while a few others documented a romantic breakfast date in a hot air balloon. Needless to say, their relationship looks like a blast.
It’s obvious that Cara is head-over-heels for the Her Smell actress. “It’s you and me, which is my [favorite]. My safe place. You let me be silly, you let me be wild, you keep me free, secure and curious. I feel like I’ve known you my entire life and I am so proud of watching you grow into the woman that you always dreamt of being,” the Suicide Squad actress continued. “I love you beyond words my sprinkles, choonchi, angel face, grumpy ass, sweet cheeks, never boring, buttmunch, Benson.” Aw, so sweet!
The feeling is mutual because Ashley chimed in with her own adorable nickname for her significant other. “Love you my choonchie pet. My best friend. My kween,” the starlet commented. The pair have been dating for a year and a half and are still the cutest thing we’ve ever seen.
Cara has been very open about what makes her relationship with Ashley different from past ones. “I’d never truly let anyone in before, for fear of them leaving. I never really trusted people or felt worthy of it, and I always pushed them away,” she admitted during an interview with on September 13. “She’s the first person that has said: ‘You . I’m going to be nice to you, I love you.’ I’m just like, ‘Wait, so all I have to do is just let you be nice to me? Why have I never done that before?’”
Ashley received tons of other birthday wishes from friends, fans and one unexpected iconic duo. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen surprised the actress — and superfan — with a video of themselves sending well wishes for her 30th. “Dreams do come true,” Ashley captioned the incredible clip on Instagram.
