No Bedtime for Kulture! Cardi B and Offset Play With Daughter in the Wee Hours of the Night
Who needs a bedtime? In the wee hours of Monday, January 27, Cardi B took to her Instagram Story to share some precious videos of her husband, Offset, and their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, having a blast!
The “I Like It” artist, 27, posted a timestamp on her first Story that read — wait for it — 3:08 a.m.! Between attending the 2020 Grammy Awards and their late-night fun with Kulture, let’s hope that Cardi and Offset, 28, got to sleep in today.
Exhaustion aside, the NYC native makes it a point to spend as much time with her baby girl as possible. Unfortunately, with Cardi’s busy schedule, it can be hard to juggle her career and motherhood.
“Flying is hard on Kulture, so if I go to a place and I’m not going to stay more than five days, I’m not bringing her,” Cardi told Vogue magazine in an article published in December.
“But now, that’s getting harder because she’s sleeping on my chest and she doesn’t want to let me go, or she sees you on FaceTime and she’s crying,” she continued. “It’s kind of like a friendship now, and it’s hard to leave your little friend.”
No matter how difficult finding a middle ground can be, Cardi puts her role as a parent first! “Being a mom — how can I say it? Things are a little bit harder to balance, but it’s good for the mental,” Cardi expressed. “Like, if I’m playing with my daughter, I forget about the issues.”
Of course, one of those “issues” includes Cardi’s relationship with Offset. In early 2019, the Hustlers actress received a lot of hate for taking the Migos rapper back after he cheated.
“When me and my husband got into our issues — you know, he cheated and everything — and I decided to stay with him and work together with him. A lot of people were so mad at me, a lot of women felt disappointed in me,” Cardi recalled.
“But it’s real-life s–t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation.”
We applaud Cardi for always staying true to herself … no matter what! Kulture has a great role model.
