Cardi B Shares Emotional Posts As Daughter Kulture Fights Off Viral Infection
This is so sad! On Jan. 8, Cardi B took to Instagram to reveal that her daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, is suffering from a viral infection. The rapper, 26, shared a number of emotional posts with her fans, including a snapshot of Kulture, 5 months, wearing a breathing mask.
First, Cardi uploaded a video to her Instagram Stories explaining her unfortunate situation: “I haven’t slept for 24 hours and I’ve been team working with my sister and my mom. My baby has a cold,” she began. “She wakes up every 20 minutes. She don’t want nobody. We have to put her down for one second, though, [and] she automatically wakes up. Such a hard, hard day.”
Shortly after that, Cardi shared two more raw photos. “Second day,” the Grammy nominee captioned the first snapshot of Kulture with the mask on. “Still sick and all she wants is mommy,” she wrote on the other. Sigh. We sincerely hope she gets better soon. Thankfully, Cardi has all resources to make sure that happens. #Blessed.
As it stands, the newly minted mama has yet to give fans any indication as to whether her baby daddy and estranged husband, Offset, is helping take care of Kulture. On Dec. 5, news broke that hip-hop’s favorite couple was calling it quits. However, things have definitely been up in the air ever since. From the 27-year-old’s over-the-top attempts to win Cardi back to Cardi legit admitting that they’re still sleeping together, we don’t know what to think.
At the end of the day, though, all that matters is that Kulture is being well taken care of. Clearly, based on Cardi’s posts, she is! Here’s hoping she gets all the love, rest, and care she needs. Oh, and as soon as Kulture’s all better, feel free to share more pictures of her precious face. OK? Thanks, girl.
