Chris Harrison Is Skipping Ashley I. and Jared Haibon’s Wedding, But There’s Still Hope for These Celeb Guests!
We’re inching closer to Bachelor Nation alums Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon‘s wedding day. Surprisingly, Chris Harrison is unable to attend — making this one of the first weddings in Bachelor history that he will not be at. In addition, he’s officiated during the nuptials of many couples who met on the famed reality show. Although he will not be there, the reality duo still has a lot of A-list invites circulating.
“Chris Harrison’s not coming,” the bride-to-be, 31, confirmed during her “I Don’t Get It” podcast on Sunday, July 28. “So, it’s really, really, sad you guys. I think [this] might be the first Bachelor wedding he hasn’t attended.” That’s not to say that the host is apathetic about the Bachelor in Paradise lovers walking down the aisle.
Ashley added, “But he sent us a really nice gift from our Crate & Barrel registry, and he was very thorough and sensitive about what he said when he had to say that he couldn’t go. Like, it was a very long explanation and it was very nice. Although it was very disappointing.”
The brunette beauty and Jared, 30, sent out some lofty invites to major stars, but it sounds like it may just be friends and family for their big day. “I don’t think there’s going to be any celebrities there,” Ashley continued. “Ashton [Kutcher] and Mila [Kunis] … but we never heard from them. But as far as friends go, we invited Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy and then Rob Thomas.” Ashley and her hunky fiancé have a long history of loving the Matchbox Twenty frontman — the starlet even thinks Jared resembles him.
Ashley added, “I don’t know if [Ashton and Mila] did get their formal invitation but they did get their Save The Date. Donny and Jenny sent their RSVP back and they can’t go.”
Star-studded or not, Ashley and Jared’s big day is all about their love. Congrats, you two!
