Dancing With the Stars pro Ezra Sosa channeled his season 33 partner, Anna Delvey, by dressing up as her on Halloween.

Ezra, 23, took to TikTok on Thursday, October 31, to show off his costume, which included him wearing a gold fringe dress, a long brown wig, oversized sunglasses, a bedazzled ankle monitor and high heels.

The professional dancer also included audio in the clip from their elimination. “What are you going to take away from this competition?” cohost Julianne Hough asked at the time. Ezra then flipped his hair as he mouthed along to Anna, 33, replying, “Nothing.”

“@AnnaDelvey how did I do?” Ezra captioned the clip.

Shortly after Ezra posted the video, several of his fans took to the comments section to gush about the costume. “Ezra you’re an icon,” one person wrote. Another chimed in, “Ezra you put the con in icon.”

“GOODBYE THIS IS EVERYONE,” a third person added, as another commented, “HELPPP WHY ARE YOU THE FUNNIEST PERSON EVER.”

Ezra wasn’t done showing off his costume, and he shared a second TikTok video that featured him lip-synching along to lines from Netflix’s Inventing Anna. The 2022 miniseries was adapted from Anna’s story as a con artist. “What are you wearing? You look poor,” Ezra lip-synched as the camera panned to display his golden costume.

“Free Anna Delvey tho …,” he captioned the second video.

Anna rose to fame in 2019 when she was arrested for posing as a German socialite as she scammed her wealthy peers out of their money. She was sentenced to serve between four to 12 years in prison, though was released early in February 2021 for good behavior.

She is currently under house arrest as she fights against deportation. However, she was able to compete on the reality show by wearing an ankle monitor, which she flaunted during her brief time on DWTS.

Following her elimination, Anna reflected on being kicked off of the show while appearing on the September 28 episode of Tori Spelling’s “Misspelling” podcast.

“It just felt a bit upsetting to me,” she told Tori, who also competed on season 33 and was eliminated alongside Anna. “It felt like a waste of time for me to do all this for them to just discard me so easily. I know the show was very excited to have me on, but the large part of the audience is not the people who would usually be excited about me in general.”

Anna then implied that she was given false hope about her future on the show. “I thought, like, ‘Well, they were building me up.’ It’s like, ‘Well, only if you smile more, only if you do X, Y, Z, it’s going to be so much better.’ It felt like they put so much effort into trying to get me on the show and make me feel comfortable, just to eliminate me this early,” she continued. “I see it, yeah, like an attempt of an embarrassment for us to get eliminated before Eric [Roberts] or Reginald [VelJohnson] in a dancing competition.”
