Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt Have Insane Chemistry on ‘The Bachelorette’ — But Is He The One?
Happily ever after? Hannah Brown went on The Bachelorette looking for a husband, and fans are dying to know if one of the guys got down on one knee during the season finale. So far, Jed Wyatt is a frontrunner, and it looks like the two have undeniable chemistry. Hmm … are they meant to be? Caution: Spoilers for Hannah’s season are below. Do not keep reading if you don’t want to know what happens.
The 25-year-old seemed to make an impression on the Alabama native early on. After he went on his first one-on-one with Hannah, they seemed more and more smitten with one another. According to Reality Steve, Jed goes on another one-on-one date during week 7, which secured him a spot for hometowns. The former beauty queen not only meets his family, but Jed is one of the final two men left at the end of the season — it comes down to him and Tyler C.
At the time, Jed proposed to his love on TV and she said “yes!” However, bad news was about to arrive — the country singer’s ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens revealed she was dating Jed when he went on the show and said they were supposed to end up together.
“We spent the night together the night before he headed to L.A.,” Haley told People of their four-month relationship. “He told [the show] was just an obstacle, and we’d be stronger on the other side because of it.” From the beginning, Jed was honest about why he decided to sign up for the show. “He said, ‘It’s probably not going to happen, but it’s a huge opportunity. I’m only doing this for my music.’ He only did it for his career. He kept telling me, ‘I don’t want my dad to have to help me pay rent anymore.’”
Unfortunately, it seems like Hannah was not able move on from his shady past. “I can confirm that Hannah broke off her engagement to Jed earlier this week,” Reality Steve tweeted on June 27. “They are still ‘together,’ but the engagement is off. This isn’t a ‘don’t ever talk to me again’ from what I’m being told, but it’s also not all rainbows and daffodils, either.”
Now, Haley is sharing her thoughts about the complicated situation. “I’m sure Hannah is heartbroken after seeing this. I don’t know if she knew, if she didn’t, if she was blindsided, I can’t even begin to know,” she exclusively told Life & Style. But Haley is rooting for the couple. “I hope it is real,” she added.
Chris Harrison did say it was the ~most dramatic season~ yet — maybe he was right!
