Hannah Brown Says Nick Viall and Demi Burnett Aren’t Dating: ‘They’re Really Good Friends’
Setting the record straight! Hannah Brown decided to let fans know that Bachelor Nation’s Nick Viall and Demi Burnett are not an item, despite the rumors. It all started when Demi, 24, recently posted a photo holding hands with Nick, 39, at a Halloween costume party. However, the Dancing With the Stars contestant confirms there was nothing romantic behind her friend’s innocent gesture.
“Oh, no. They were just having a good time,” the 25-year-old Alabama native exclusively told Life & Style at the DWTS Top 6 Finalist Party at Dominique Ansel on November 4. “They’re really good friends. They’re like besties. Well, she’s my bestie. We’re besties first and then Nick is her other best friend.”
Hannah knows a thing or two about being dealing with rumors. Since competing on DWTS, fans have speculated that she and her dance partner, Alan Bersten, are a couple. In reality, they’re just good friends with great chemistry. “I think it’s because we’re honest with each other,” she added. “If we don’t like something that one of us says, we just squash it right away. We just move forward. We have grown. I’ll be like ‘I don’t like when you say that.’ He’s like, ‘okay, you gotta stop doing that.’ I’m like, all right.” Communication is key!
Hannah and Alan have grown super close over time. So much, in fact, that he even met her family. She admitted to being “nervous” about their first encounter, but thankfully, it turned out fine. “I just think they love Alan because he’s been a part of this journey with me that they haven’t been a part of,” she said. “They’ve been loving and supporting from afar. So, they were just hamming it up and chatting with him!”
Overall, Alan enjoyed his stay in Alabama. “If I have learned anything, it’s that in the South, everyone was so close and so supportive of each other,” he chimed in. “It was amazing.”
While we think the two would make a great couple, Hannah reassured they’re just good buddies. “We are dance partners and we have the best time together and we have a friendship that is great,” she told Life & Style and other outlets during the show’s September 30 live taping. Guess we’ll have to see what happens down the line!
