Who Is Fred Warner’s Wife? San Francisco 49ers Star Is Married to The Bachelor’s Sydney Hightower
Fred Warner will have the support of his wife, Sydney Warner (née Hightower), when he takes the field in the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11. The San Francisco 49ers linebacker and Bachelor Nation alum started dating in 2020 and have built a beautiful life together.
Who Is Fred Warner’s Wife Sydney?
Sydney was a contestant on season 24 of The Bachelor, which filmed during the fall of 2019 and premiered in January 2020. She dated Peter Weber on the show and made it to week six before getting eliminated.
“She loves to hike, dance and plan fantasy vacations for her and her future husband,” Sydney’s Bachelor bio revealed. “She also loves to bake and says that her dream man will have a sweet tooth just like her. Sydney is fiery, fierce and not a force you want to mess with.”
The gorgeous brunette is from Alabama and has a connection to a Bachelor Nation favorite: Hannah Brown. The ladies both graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 2013 and attended the University of Alabama.
What Is Sydney’s Job?
In addition to being her husband’s biggest fan, Sydney is also a busy woman! While appearing in season 24 of the hit reality TV series, Sydney was working as a retail marketing manager at the time, per ABC. Not only that, but she also worked as a nanny prior to her stint on The Bachelor.

How Did Fred Warner Meet His Wife Sydney?
Sydney didn’t find her husband on The Bachelor but she still credits the show with leading her to her happily ever after. After her elimination from the show aired in February 2020, Sydney got a message from Fred on Instagram.
“He was single and had just lost the Super Bowl so he was feeling down,” she shared in a 2022 interview. “He was hanging out at his house and not leaving his room much. He would watch shows and while he didn’t watch much of The Bachelor, his family did. His brother’s wife FaceTimed him and told him there was a girl on The Bachelor that was his type and his vibe. He thought she was being ridiculous but he reached out. He waited until I was sent home, and around two weeks later, he found me on Instagram and shot his shot!”
In a separate interview, Sydney detailed how the couple’s first conversation went.” “He actually sent me an emoji [because] he didn’t think I was gonna respond, and that’s why he got really casual, but it was sweet,” she recalled.
Just months after they fell in love, the couple announced their whirlwind engagement in May 2021. Sydney posted an adorable photo of Fred getting down on one knee with a ring box in his hand while she held a red rose.
“05/15/21 It’s you [and] me,” she captioned the post.
When Did Fred Warner and Sydney Get Married?
The happy couple tied the knot in June 2022.
Six months before their scenic California wedding ceremony, Sydney explained her wedding planning process to Us Weekly, gushing about how “fun” everything was.
“Planning a wedding during football season, and now we’re in playoffs, he’s not involved. It’s fine, he trusts me, we both have the same taste,” the reality TV personality explained “He is giving me the reins on that, and it hasn’t been as stressful as I would have thought it would be. It’s been more fun. I’m just excited for it to all just come to an end and us just be there on that day.”
Sydney also noted that she and her husband are both “sappy romantics.”
“So, we’re just thinking about the moment when I’m walking down and all of that, like, tearjerker stuff. That’s my favorite part,” she added in her January 2022 interview. “And it’s just being there with our families. I think that’s the moment and the feeling that I’m looking forward to the most.”
Do Fred Warner and Wife Sydney Have Kids?
Fred and Sydney announced in October 2023 that they were expecting their first child.
“The past several months we have experienced the most precious moments of our lives,” she gushed on Instagram.” Every weekly milestone and new development has been indescribable … the best is yet to come!”
The pair’s son is due in March 2024, just weeks after the Super Bowl.
