Back Together? Gigi Hadid Makes Zayn Malik’s Mom’s Recipe on Instagram
Could Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have gotten back together just in time for the new year? It’s possible — especially considering the 24-year-old recently posted a photo on Instagram of the former One Direction member’s mom’s recipe and tagged her.
“Sunday in the kitchen: about to marinate the chicken for one of my favorites!” the supermodel began her caption on December 29. “@mamamalik’s Chicken Curry Pasta salad. Hopefully, she’ll share the recipe with the world one day.”
The last two years have been quite the rollercoaster for Gigi and Zayn. In March 2018, they broke up for the first time after dating for roughly two years. “Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend,” the singer wrote on Twitter at the time. “She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time, we wish this news could have come from us first. We love you all. xZ.”
By June of the same year, the pair made things Instagram official again, proving they had gotten back together. Unfortunately, that was short-lived because they split once again right before the year came to an end. They were on and off for a while, and during their time apart, the blonde beauty even dated other people — one of them being The Bachelorette’s Tyler Cameron.
Gigi and Tyler began dating in August 2019 and split in October. They seemed to be going strong, but things cooled down between the two thanks to their hectic schedules. “They’ve both — she’s been in Europe for fashion week and he’s been working on his charity and preparing for the Chicago marathon,” a source exclusively told Life & Style before their breakup.
Could 2020 be the year Gigi’s love life thrives? Maybe. In January, another source exclusively revealed to Life & Style that she “wants to be in a happy and secure relationship.” We hope the new year brings her just that!
