A modern-day fairytale. Miranda Lambert and her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, have such a cute backstory! The now-married couple first met on the set of Good Morning America in 2018 while Brendan was doing security for the show. 

Believe it or not, the “Tin Man” artist, 36, was too shy to make the first move. So, her friends and Pistol Annies bandmates Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley stepped in. 

“My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back,” Miranda previously told The New York Times. “They plucked him for me. My security guy Tom, he was in on it, too. He said to me, ‘He’s here. And he’s pretty.’ Now the Pistol Annies have three husbands, two ex-husbands, three children, a stepson and 23 animals. We’ve done a lot in nine years!”

Prior to Brendan, who is a retired NYPD officer, Miranda dated fellow musician Anderson East for two years before calling it quits in February 2018. Shortly thereafter, the Texas native had a brief fling with singer Evan Felker. Most notably, Miranda was married to country crooner Blake Shelton from 2011 to 2015.

In February 2019, the Grammy Award winner totally surprised her fans with a marriage announcement. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan McLoughlin for loving me for … me,” she captioned an Instagram post on Valentine’s Day.

Nowadays, Miranda and Brendan are stronger than ever! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer is taking a break from touring and instead is traveling across the country with her man. “They’re sightseeing, making stops, cooking, sleeping under the stars — it’s been heaven,” a source previously told Life & Style.

“They’ve even had long conversations about starting a family together. It’s something they both want but agreed to wait a little while,” the insider added. “Now, having all this time together with no interruptions, and with the current state of the world, they’re rethinking the timing of everything.
