False alarm! Demi Lovato shared a fake baby bump photo on November 20, and fans were freaking out. The singer shared the unexpected “pregnancy” photo while on set during filming for Will and Grace. She’s been teasing her appearance on the relaunched sitcom for months and used the surprising picture to introduce her character, Jenny.

“Real or fake?” the 27-year-old captioned a mirror selfie of herself cradling the bump in a blue polka dot dress with a goofy emoji. Although it’s clearly just for fun — and her character — the comments were flooded with people gushing over how adorable she looked.

“But, it would be so adorable if u [sic] were,” a follower confessed. “You’re the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” someone else echoed. “Stop it!! Um, you are adorable pregnant!!” one person gushed. “I almost had a whole heart attack,” another user joked. “Fakeeee!!! But you look such a beautiful as mommy!!” one comment read.

Of course, her close friends couldn’t help but have a little fun. “Mazel tov,” Demi’s manager, Scooter Braun, simply commented. YouTube star Nikita Dragun hilariously added, “Me after chipotle.”

Although the “Daddy Issues” singer is not expecting, she did just reveal her new boyfriend, Austin Wilson, on Instagram. “My [red heart emoji],” the songstress wrote to introduce her new model beau to the world on November 13. A source from In Touch dished that the newly minted couple share the “same circle of friends,” including Thomas Trussell III, who died of an overdose in early October. Demi even got the letter “T” tattooed on her arm in her pal’s honor.

This is Demi’s first public relationship since dating ex Henri Levy. She split from the clothing designer in March 2019 after four months together, and a source exclusively told Life & Style that their busy schedules were to blame. “After Aspen, Henri headed to Paris to prepare for his Enfants Riches Déprimés Automne Hiver 19/20 Runway Show for Paris Men’s Fashion Week, and Demi went to Florida for a friend’s wedding,” the insider explained about the pair running all over the world.
