Could Hannah Godwin Be the Next Lead on ‘The Bachelorette?’ Fans Are Vying for This Blonde Beauty
Things are really heating up between Hannah Godwin and Colton Underwood this season on The Bachelor. As the former football player’s journey starts winding down (we’re almost to hometowns!), fans can’t help but get excited about the possibility of the blonde content creator becoming the next Bachelorette. Warning: Spoilers below! Do not keep reading if you don’t want to know what happens this season.
The 23-year-old has stolen America’s (and Colton’s) heart this season, and fans think she has what it takes to be next season’s leading lady. Even Bachelor Nation favorite Raven Gates tweeted at the beginning of the season, “I’m calling it now. If Hannah Godwin doesn’t win … she will be the next Bachelorette.” That’s a pretty strong endorsement.

So, what is the possibility of the blonde beauty getting her own season? We would say pretty good! According to show spoilers, Hannah G. makes it to the final four but is sent home before having an overnight date. We’re sure we’ll feel for her heartbreak when that happens.
In total, there have been 14 Bachelorettes and they all finished within the top four of their season, which means the odds are already in her favor. Since receiving the first impression rose during week 1, the marketing professional has been a staple on our screens every Monday night. Although she’s only 23, she hasn’t given any impression that she’s not ready to get engaged.
Show producers usually wait until the last possible moment to choose next season’s lead because they like to take fan reactions into account. As of last month, the conversation hadn’t even come into play yet.
“I do not know who the next Bachelorette is,” Chris Harrison told ET‘s Lauren Zima in January. “We have not even gotten there.” He added, “We really did put the Bachelorette talk on the back burner, so I promise you, we have not even come close to starting that conversation yet.”
Overall, we think Hannah would be an amazing choice for The Bachelorette. She’s gorgeous, sweet and creates great content. What more could you want?
