Jason Kelce Opens Up About ‘Fun’ Mother’s Day Brunch With Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce: ‘Special’
Jason Kelce opened up about his “special” Mother’s Day celebration, which he spent with his wife, Kylie Kelce, brother Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, as well as their moms, Donna Kelce and Andrea Swift.
“We had a lot of people in, which was fun,” Jason, 37, told Extra on Monday, May 12, about his family’s Mother’s Day festivities over the weekend.
While he didn’t share too many details about his Mother’s Day celebrations, photos circulated online of Taylor, 35, and Travis, 35, joining Jason, Kylie, 33, Donna, 72, and Andrea, 67, at Talula’s Garden restaurant in Philadelphia.
“Life is crazy. So to pay homage to all the women that made that possible, it’s a pretty special day,” the retired Philadelphia Eagles player added.
Jason then added that he and Kylie have “four little ones,” daughters Wyatt Elizabeth, 5, Elliotte Ray, 4, Bennett Llewellyn, 2, and Finnley “Finn” Anne, 1 month, so this Mother’s Day was extra special.
One detail that Jason did share about the event was that he gave Donna a “nice gift card” and a trip, adding that the mother of two “loves cruises.”
The celebration marked a major occasion for Taylor and Travis’ fans, as it was the first time they were spotted together in two months. While the couple has been known to support each other at his games and her concerts, they have been flying under the radar after the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Eagles during Super Bowl LIX in February.
While their lack of public date nights have had some fans wondering if they were experiencing problems in paradises, sources have exclusively confirmed to Life & Style that Taylor and Travis are still going strong.
“It’s been a dream period that’s only solidified that they’re on the same page about their future,” one source told Life & Style about the couple on April 16. The “I Bet You Think About Me” singer and professional athlete are believed to be discussing the “next steps” in their relationship, including “amping up wedding discussions.”
The insider went on to note that their time out of the spotlight “has given them a taste of what life will be like when they’re married, not promoting anything, and not on anyone’s radar.”
“They already knew how compatible they were, but this break away from everything has allowed them to grow closer and be even more certain,” the source continued.
Meanwhile, a second insider exclusively told Life & Style that Taylor and Travis – who began dating in the summer of 2023 – have been enjoying their private time for a specific reason amid their career breaks.
“Taylor’s been in rest-and-relaxation mode since she wrapped her Eras Tour in December,” the source explained in a story published on April 2. “The plan has always been to enjoy the off-season with Travis by packing in a lot of travel.”
While Taylor and Travis have not publicly shared their plans for the future together, there’s no doubt that their romance is serious. In fact, Donna recently revealed that Travis used to not bring many of his girlfriends around before Taylor.
“I knew nothing of anybody that you guys were dating in college. You told me zero. You were too busy. Did you have any time at all to date?” Donna told Travis and Jason during the May 7 episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
After Jason said he didn’t date many girls before Kylie, Donna said she only “met one or two” of the women Travis dated in the past. “What? I didn’t have any girlfriends,” the tight end jokingly responded.
