Another day, another influencer weighing in on the James Charles and Tati Westbrook feud. This time, popular travel blogger and model Jay Alvarrez is putting in his two cents. “People giving this kid too much props. He got no game,” the 23-year-old captioned a supposed DM conversation from James back in February.

In addition to addressing Alexis Ren’s former flame as “daddy,” the 19-year-old beauty blogger flat out tells Jay that he’s messaging him because he’s “hot.” True? Absolutely. Uncomfortable? Er, a little bit, yes. Instead of ignoring James’ flirtation, though, Jay’s reply was actually quite appropriate.

“Appreciate that, my guy, I’m straight as could be,” he wrote, along with a winking emoji. Based on the screencap Jay shared, the conversation ended there. However, according to Tati’s claims in her scathing “Bye Sister” YouTube video, the 37-year-old explained that James had, on multiple occasions, tried to convince straight young men they were gay and to be with him through his celebrity and money, which she said was “disgusting” and “manipulative.”

While James only briefly commented on these claims in his apology video, his ex-BFF Jeffree Star chimed in to corroborate what Tati said. “There is a reason that Nathan banned James Charles from ever coming over to our home again,” the 33-year-old makeup mogul revealed in a since-deleted tweet posted on May 12. “There’s a reason why I haven’t seen him since @GlamLifeGuru’s birthday in February. He is a danger to society. Everything Tati said is 100% true.”

Considering James’ subscriber count continues to plummet by the minute, it’s obvious that a lot people are #TeamTati. As for Jay? Well, it seems as though his post was meant as a joke. We do wonder how Tana Mongeau feels about James’ message to Jay, though. After all, the 20-year-old dated Jay for a bit last year. *Gulp.*
