Ready to face the music? James Charles was spotted for the first time in public since Tati Westbrook released her scathing “Bye Sister” YouTube video on Friday, May 10. The 19-year-old beauty guru appeared makeup-free and somber while leaving the Brisbane airport in Australia on Wednesday, May 15.

Although James was traveling abroad to promote his Morphe collaboration, the influencer didn’t post any content with fans to his social accounts. In fact, James has been on a hiatus since his brief apology video went live. During the eight-minute clip, James apologized for disappointing 37-year-old Tati, her husband, whom James also had a close relationship with, and his fans.

He also told his mother how much he appreciates her, but asked her not to engage with fans or haters online anymore. He didn’t make excuses or “try to pull receipts” — as he’s admitted to doing in the past. Even so, James’ subscriber count continues to plummet. As it stands, he’s lost over 3 million follows across all of his platforms.

So, that begs the question, what’s next for the once-beloved personality? Well, it looks like at least some of James’ career is still intact … for now, anyway. The Sisters tour, which kicks off in late June, is made up of 24 dates around the U.S. Currently, no cancellations have been announced by James’ team or the venues.

Considering the various VIP packages for the tour cost fans upwards of 300 dollars, it doesn’t look as though James’ net worth will be taking too much of a hit. That said, with friends like Tana Mongeau and Jeffree Star publicly denouncing him, we’re curious to see how James will adjust to life back in L.A.
