She said yes! Jenna Dewan revealed Steve Kazee popped the question while taking to Instagram on February 18. “A lifetime to love and grow with you … you have my heart,” she captioned the snap showing off her beautiful new diamond ring.

Her hubby-to-be also shared a heartwarming message of his own. “When you wake in the morning I will kiss your face with a smile no one has ever seen,” Steve wrote. “When you wake in the morning I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”

Their engagement comes after a little over a year of dating and just before the arrival of their baby. In September 2019, the couple announced they’re expecting their first child together. “Becoming a mother is quite simply the absolute best most incredible thing that has ever happened to me,” the Step Up actress captioned an Instagram photo with her daughter, Everly, whom she shares with ex Channing Tatum. “@stevekazee you are a gift from above and I couldn’t be more excited to be expanding our family together! Thank you guys for all the love.”

The Broadway actor also gushed about the exciting news. “I can’t even begin to describe the feelings that I have had since we !” he wrote on IG. “I have waited my entire life for this moment and couldn’t have found a better person to build a family with.”

Steve continued, “The past year and a half has brought so many things into my life that have filled me with the deepest of gratitude. A partner who radiates love, warmth, and kindness. A partner who has faced some of the hardest moments life can deal you with grace, humility and a desire to learn from the ups and downs. A partner who is continuously growing from those lessons and who supports my growth as a person with love, unwavering support and understanding.”

Steve also expressed his love for Everly, who’s already taught him plenty about being a parent. In addition, the 6-year-old is ready to learn everything she can about what it takes to be a good big sister.

“She just said to me this morning, ‘I’m preparing myself for that baby to cry all the time,'” Jenna divulged to Life & Style and other outlets recently. “It was so adult, and she asked me if the baby cried in the night she could get out of her bed and go sing the baby a song. And I was like, that is so sweet. So she’s already preparing herself and she’s excited. She’s old enough to understand that she’s going to have responsibilities and she’s a big sister. She’s taking it very seriously.”
