Coolest Mom Ever?! Jenna Dewan Celebrates Her 38th Birthday By Taking Daughter Everly On An Ear-Piercing Date
She’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom! On Dec. 3, Jenna Dewan took to Instagram to show off her super fun 38th birthday celebration. What did she do, you ask? Well, the mother-of-one went to get her ears pierced along with her five-year-old daughter, Everly. Who says getting older can’t be awesome?
Based on the (semi-cringeworthy) videos Jenna posted, we’re not entirely sure if her little lady decided to get pierced, too. However, the brunette beauty went HAM by getting not one, not two, but three new ear piercings. Damn, mama.
Prior to her mommy-daughter date, Jenna appeared on Busy Phillips’ talk show, Busy Tonight, where she dished on Everly’s reservations about getting blinged out. “She’s gonna decide after watching me if she wants to get her ears pierced,” Jenna explained.
Hmmm, we wonder what Everly decided. TBH, we wouldn’t blame her for waiting a little longer. Did you see those needles?! Yeah, no thanks. On a more pleasant note, Jenna received a birthday gift even better than jewelry — yes, that’s possible — she became Instagram official with her handsome new beau, Broadway performer Steve Kazee.
Steve posted a sweet snap of a photo booth pic making goofy faces and kissing Jenna, and if that wasn’t adorable enough, he also included a touching birthday message. “Happy Birthday Jenna!” he wrote. “Somehow it feels like my birthday over and over again because I keep getting the gift of you every day.” OK, the ugly tears are real right now.
While this is the first time we’ve seen a photo of Jenna and Steve together, they’ve been more than a little flirty on Instagram recently. Jenna posted a heart emoji on a video of Steve singing and playing guitar. Then Steve one-upped her when she asked fans if they “found their favorite yet” in reference to her new Danskin line, and he responded, “Yes. I have,” obviously referring to the collaborator, not the clothes. How sweet are these two?!
We’re happy to see that Jenna had an amazing birthday. Here’s to another great year. Keep thriving, girl.
