Jessica Simpson Flaunts 100-Pound Weight Loss in Little Black Dress

Lookin’ good, mama! Jessica Simpson stepped out in NYC on Wednesday, September 25, rocking a little black dress that seriously flaunted her, ahem, assets. Oh, and of course, her incredible 100-pound postpartum weight loss.

ICYMI: The singer, 39, took to Instagram hours earlier to proudly share the fitness update with fans. “Six months. 100 pounds down (yes, I tipped the scales at 240),” Jessica began. “My first trip away from [Birdie Mae] and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder.”

We’re just going to go ahead and file that under major fitspiration. Unsurprisingly, we aren’t the only ones championing Jessica’s efforts. “You look amazing!” Katie Couric commented. “Gorgeous!!!!!!” added RHOBH star Kylie Richards. “Wow!!!” Shay Mitchell chimed in, along with several fitting emojis, while Jessica’s brother-in-law, Evan Ross, echoed, “You look amazing, sis.”

Even if this is hardly the first time that Jessica has bounced back from giving birth — she did the same with Maxwell, 7, and Ace, 6 — we are still *beyond* impressed with her dedication. After all, she had quite a difficult pregnancy with Birdie, 6 months.

From dealing with edema (severe swelling) to, er, breaking toilet seats, we wouldn’t have blamed the former reality TV star for taking it easy after Birdie was born in March, but nope! Jessica triumphed.

In fact, a source exclusively revealed to Life & Style just how hard she was willing to go to get her pre-pregnancy body back. “Jessica hired a personal trainer to put together a strict diet and exercise regimen to follow once she gets back on her feet,” the insider explained at the time. Clearly, it worked, y’all!

As positive as the comments have been about Jessica’s weight loss, The Dukes of Hazzard alum has also been dealing with a lot of mommy shaming. So much so, that Jessica disabled her Instagram comments after The Parent Police said she didn’t properly strap Birdie into her car seat.

Sigh. We sincerely hope Jessica continues to ignore all of the trolls and focus on living her best (sexiest!) life.
