Hard work pays off! Jessica Simpson took to Instagram to show off her post-baby bod, and she looks incredible. The 39-year-old revealed she lost 100 pounds since she gave birth to her daughter, Birdie Mae Johnson, in March.

“Six months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 [pounds.]) My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and [I’m] emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder,” she captioned the post, which featured Jess wearing a fitted black dress that accentuated her curves.

Weeks after Birdie was born on March 19, a source exclusively revealed to Life & Style magazine that the mom of three “hired a personal trainer to put together a strict diet and exercise regimen for her to follow once she gets back on her feet.” Well, it most definitely worked! In June, the blonde beauty shared a photo of her toned leg. “I spy … my ankles!!!!” she captioned it. Jessica was very open about documenting her pregnancy journey and throughout, she suffered from severe edema, which is excessive swelling in many body parts such as the feet.

In January, a then-pregnant Jess asked her friends and followers advice on how to reduce the swelling. However, now she’s the one who needs to offer tips and share her diet and workout regime.

Besides focusing on her body, the pop singer is all about her kids. She shares Maxwell, 7, Ace, 6, and Birdie, 6 months, with her husband, Eric Johnson. Based on the Instagram photos she uploads of her little ones, Jess loves to let them express themselves.

In July, the fashion designer shared a few Insta snaps of her oldest daughter with her then-newly colored hair. “Inspired by The Descendants #901girl #MAXIDREW,” Jess captioned the post. Unfortunately, Jessica was mom-shamed by many who believed it was a mistake to let Maxi Drew dye her hair at such a young age.

It’s a good thing there are still supportive moms out there. Pink took it upon herself to defend the “With You” crooner by sharing a photo of her daughter, Willow, doing the same thing. We stan!
