Get it, girl! Just two months after Jessica Simpson gave birth to her daughter, Birdie Mae, the former pop star, 38, is flaunting her killer physique on Instagram. “I spy … my ankles!!!!” Jessica excitedly captioned a photo of her leg on Tuesday, June 18. For those of you who may not remember, Jessica suffered from severe edema (swelling) while carrying baby No. 3. So much so, that she took to social media on a number of occasions to ask her followers for tips, tricks and remedies.
With that, people are *beyond* happy to see that Jessica is no longer uncomfortable/in pain. Oh, yeah, and that she’s looking fabulous. “And some amazing muscle tone, mama!” one user commented. “Soooooo proud!!!” added another.
Question is, how did Jessica bounce back so darn quickly? After all, there was a moment during her pregnancy that she legit broke a toilet seat because she was so big. We’re not judging, of course, but it’s definitely worth noting. Well, as it happens, the fashion designer “hired a personal trainer to put together a strict diet and exercise regimen for her to follow once she gets back on her feet,” a source recently confirmed to Life & Style.
Seeing as Jessica has two other kiddos — Maxwell Drew, 7, and Ace Knute Johnson, 5 — we’re happy to hear that she’ll be in tip-top shape to keep up with her darling brood. The best part? We have no doubt that Jessica will keep us posted on her motherhood journey every step of the way.
