Fans have been worrying about the state of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s relationship ever since they’ve been butting heads on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but in the Sunday, October 20 episode, they put any rumors to rest. As their fifth wedding anniversary rolled around, the couple decided to celebrate it in a way that was “so special.” Instead of throwing some kind of lavish party (or, OK, it’s more like in addition to throwing some kind of lavish party), they decided to renew their vows. Luckily, Psalm West arrived with just enough time for them to pull it off with all four kids by their side.

“Today is my five year anniversary with Kanye,” Kim told audiences in the episode. “And I’m so excited just to have the family over to do just a little vow renewal ceremony. I had our pastor that married us, Pastor Rich Wilkerson, he came in town. And I’m excited to have a nice, really pretty, romantic evening.” Earlier in the episode, the star revealed that they had “five years” down and “infinity to go.” Once her glam team had finished getting her ready, she practiced for the big moment with son Saint West, giving an enthusiastic “Yes!” to his pretend proposal before working on her vows.

Though the couple decided to have the actual ceremony off camera because they were “really personal and private,” Kim did reveal the first line of her vows as she rehearsed them with her son as sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner and daughter North West watched. Though the couple had kept it traditional at their wedding, this time around, she wanted to write something in her own words to tell her man just how much he meant to her. “You are my husband. You are my best friend. My biggest believer and my one true love,” Kim read to Saint, and Khloé couldn’t help but gush.

Earlier in the episode, the two sisters talked over the idea as they agreed that it would be “so special” for Kim to surprise Kanye with the plan. The vows that she wrote herself were an extra surprise on top of that. “It’s very special that Kim planned all of this,” Khloé, 35, told cameras. “She’s not, like, a mushy type of person. … For her, this is probably the cheesiest thing in the world, but it’s so sweet.”
