Kim Kardashian’s Birthday Celebration Was Full of Flowers, Sweets and Family — Watch!
Just because Kim Kardashian is arguably the most famous woman in the world, doesn’t mean that her birthday party has to resemble the royal wedding. In fact, the KUWTK star opted to keep her 39th trip around the sun fairly low-key … well, low-key for A-list standards, anyway.
Kim took to her Instagram Story on Monday, October 21, to give her followers an inside look at the cozy affair, which included sweets, flowers and of course, family. Based on the makeup mogul’s videos, all of the Kar-Jenner kids were in attendance. Needless to say, there were lots of little ones running around munching on churros from a stand, beignet’s from a food truck and ice cream.
Speaking of munching, Kim’s shindig included a home-cooked, candle-lit meal from Carousel Restaurant in Hollywood. That’s right, they came to her! Carousel specializes in Lebanese-Armenian cuisine, perfect for honoring the Kardashian’s heritage.
In addition to showing off the ins and outs of her birthday bash, Kim also took to social media to express her gratitude. “Thank you so much for all of the birthday love! I had the best most relaxing birthday ever! I spent the weekend with my amazing friends in Palm Springs and then had a family dinner at my house tonight thrown by my mom and Kanye [West],” Kim began.
“My favorite Armenian restaurant Carousel came and catered and then was surprised with a beignet truck and churro stand! I got amazing gifts from my whole family and Kanye for me the most amazing bags,” she continued, adding, “But he donated $1 million to my favorite charities that work so hard on prison reform on my behalf from him and the kids. This makes my heart so happy!”
“Kanye has the most generous heart, it is inspiring,” Kourtney Kardashian commented on the post. “Carousel is my fav,” added Emily Ratajkowski, along with a heart emoji. “That’s so incredible!!! Happy Birthday, Kim,” a fan chimed in, while a fourth echoed, “Kanye is amazing and so are you, Kim!”
