Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Share the Sweetest Moment: ‘We Were Always Going to Try and Be Family’
We’re not crying, you are! Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick got very candid about their relationship during a clip for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The parents discussed their past drama, vacationing together and where they stand as a family. Any fan of the famous family will have their heart melted watching how far the former couple has come.
After returning from New York City, the two can be seen discussing an upcoming family trip to Bali with the Kar-Jenners. Kourtney, 39, brings up the fact that they hadn’t vacationed together since Costa Rica when Scott, 35, famously brought a random girl and hid her in his hotel room. The Poosh founder vowed at the time to never let her ex come on another excursion, but things are different between them now.
“Yeah, I don’t think I was in the best place but I also feel like you and I weren’t in the best place … You were living your life the way you should be and I just wasn’t ready to handle it,” Scott admitted to the brunette beauty.
“I feel like the biggest thing you and I have always talked about that you wanted from me, if there was anything, was just to see me consistent with you and my family,” he continued. “It’s been over a year of consistency and I feel like we’re good. Our parenting is better and the kids are better. We’ve always said that we were going to try and be family. Obviously, it didn’t work out perfect but this is as close as we can get.” Scott and Kourtney share three children — Mason, 9, Penelope, 6, and Reign, 4.
“My past with Scott has always been complicated … I mean, it’s really nice to see how much Scott has grown and how much he’s invested in really being a great dad to the kids,” Kourtney explained in a private interview. Obviously, she invited him to join along on the trip. Since this was previously filmed, fans have already seen photos of the family’s trip that happened back in November on Instagram.
At the end of the clip, the Pretty Little Things model warned, “My only hesitation is that I don’t want to, like, give mixed messages by like all going on a trip together.” The New York native assured her he was in a “full relationship” with Sofia Richie and then joked, “You barely give a regular message.”
