Coparenting, FTW! Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Take Penelope and Her Friends to Disneyland

While Scott, 36, and Kourt, 40, have taken their kiddos to Disneyland many times before, this particular trip was in celebration of P’s 7th birthday! Can you believe how big she’s getting?

No shade to other dads in Hollywood, but Scott is seriously the best of the best. His love for his kids is 100 different kinds of heartwarming. Case in point: “Happy birthday to my little angel who shows me what life’s about every single day. Love you too much, Poosh,” the Talentless founder wrote for Penelope on Instagram. Excuse us while we ugly cry in the corner, thanks. 

As it happens, Scott is a firm believer that his failed relationship with Kourtney should have zero impact on his three children. In addition to Penelope, the former flames share two sons, Mason, 9 and Reign, 4.

“The truth is, my problems shouldn’t affect the kids,” Scott told Us Weekly on June 24. “Just because their mother and I couldn’t make it as a perfect, romantic couple shouldn’t have anything to do with the kids.”

“They don’t deserve our mistakes,” Scott expressed. “So, we figured out a way. We still need to be as honest and as good to each other as if we were together. Let’s raise these children together and that’s it. We live a few miles apart and it’s simple.”

Er, simple? We wouldn’t exactly describe Scott’s current situation that way. After all, not only is he making sure his relationship with Kourtney remains amicable, but he also has his longtime girlfriend, Sofia Richie, to consider.

Thankfully, the 20-year-old model has known since the beginning that Scott’s family is a main priority. “I mean, Sofia knew going into this that I was extremely close with Kourtney,” Scott revealed to Khloé Kardashian during an April episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. “She was like, ‘Listen, I will never get between you and your family and your children. Just speak to me and make me comfortable.’”

Sofia may be 16 years younger than her beau, but clearly, she’s got a good head on her shoulders. We stan. “I thought for a very long time that I was going to live a very miserable life,” Scott continued to Koko, 35.

“I didn’t think that I was going to have happiness again. My biggest thing to Kourtney was no matter who we’re with, even though our children might not see everything, they do feel it and they can hear it and everyone needs to be OK with each other,” he concluded. 

Based on the past few months, it’s clear that everyone in the Kardashian-Disick clan is more than OK with each other. Keep setting a positive example for blended families everywhere, you two!
