Just because Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian ended their romantic relationship, doesn’t mean that they don’t still support each other to the fullest — especially as coparents. During an emotional sneak peek of Flip It Like Disick, the former flames discuss how far Scott, 36, has come as a father to the pair’s three children — Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4.

“It was really, really, really difficult at first,” the Talentless founder confessed. “I did not know how to be a dad and how to take care of kids and how to be there for them. I feel pretty confident that I’m able to now and it’s great.”

The sweetest part, of course, is that Kourtney, 40, fully acknowledges Scott’s transformation. “You’ve definitely come a long way,” the Poosh.com founder admitted. “I’m very proud of you.” *Pauses to wipe happy tears.* Sigh. Are these two sure they can’t back together? Just kidding … sort of.

Scott went on to explain that he’s content with the relationship he and Kourtney have nowadays. “It’s great that I’m still able to have Kourtney in my life and we can still coexist and raise our three children together.” Speaking of coexisting, it’s worth noting that Kourtney has also come a long way in accepting Scott’s relationship with longtime girlfriend Sofia Richie.

That said, ever since the 20-year-old model began regularly spending time with Kourtney’s little sister Kylie Jenner, the dynamic has changed — for the worse, unfortunately. “Kourtney likes Sofia, but Scott is her ex and the father of her kids, so sometimes she feels that there should be healthier boundaries,” a source told Life & Style exclusively.

“If Scott were to marry Sofia then that would be different. Maybe Kourtney is just feeling a little insecure because her kids love Sofia and now Kylie and Sofia are super tight.”

At the end of the day, so long as the Disick-Kardashian kiddos are well taken care of, that’s all that matters!
