Kristen Doute Shares Inspirational Quotes Amid Stassi and Katie Feud: ‘I Will Not Make Myself Small’
There’s no denying that it’s been a difficult year for the self-proclaimed “Witches of WeHo.” Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute is ready to take her power back, though. The 36-year-old shared two emotional and inspirational quotes on her Instagram Stories, proving she’s finding her voice again amid her feud with former BFFs and costars Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney-Schwartz.
“Say it over and over until you are out of breath: I will not make myself small,” read the first quote she shared, tagging actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who originally shared the image. The second quote read, “This chapter of my life is called, ‘Smiling Again.'”
Considering Katie, 32, called Kristen “an obnoxious person” during the Pump Rules season 8 trailer, we can definitely surmise that Kristen isn’t going to take something like that sitting down anymore. Either way, it doesn’t seem like the brunette babe will be mending things with the Pucker & Pout founder and Stassi, 31, who recently revealed to Life & Style exclusively that the James Mae founder may not be at her upcoming Italy wedding to Beau Clark.
“It’s important to them that they only have people there that are immediate in their lives, who they see a future in their lives with and that they’re close with. It’s important, I think, to keep the wedding intimate,” Katie explained, to which the Next Level Basic author added, “Yeah. Basically, a lot of people aren’t going to be invited. That’s what she’s trying to nicely say.”
Katie also explained that the season was going to be jam-packed with drama. “Well, you’re going to see a lot of it play out on the show, so I’m not going to explain too much. But you’ve seen us ebb and flow with Kristen a lot and we know sometimes how Kristen can be difficult,” she revealed. “It just reached the wall, it reached the ceiling.”
And according to Stassi, backing off from the friendship was necessary. “It’s not just one thing that brought us to this place. It was just a series of years of things,” she said. “We kind of just felt like, ‘OK, we need a break and that’s it.’ And we love her still and care about her, but it’s just break time.”
Kristen seems to be willing to let bygones be bygones, though. “I never say never to any of that. I love them both. My personal POV is I love them both,” she explained to about her former friends while attending costars and ‘s Fancy AF Cocktails book launch. “They’re still my sisters to me. I still have a lot of love. They asked for space, so I’m giving them space.”
