Kylie Jenner Attends 2025 Met Gala Without Boyfriend Timothee Chalamet: Photos of Her Solo Look
Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet did not make their red carpet debut as a couple during the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, like everyone expected. Instead, she arrived solo at the event, posing for photos by herself as she showed off her look.
Kylie’s gray and black Ferragamo dress featured a combination of tweed and sheer fabric. She accessorized the look with sheer gloves and silver jewelry. While his girlfriend was at the Met, Timothée revealed in his Instagram Stories that he was watching the Knicks game on TV with some pals.
The 2025 event marks the eighth time Kylie, 27, has attended the Met Gala, while Timothée, 29, previously attended the event in 2021 and 2022.
Kylie, 27, and Timothée, 29, were first romantically linked in April 2023, which was just months after they reportedly met at Paris Fashion Week. The pair managed to keep their relationship out of the spotlight for months, and they eventually made their public debut as a couple while attending a Beyoncé concert in September 2023.
They slowly started to make more public appearances together as their relationship progressed, including their date night at the Golden Globes on January 5. Timothée walked the red carpet by himself and was later joined by Kylie inside the awards show. They made no effort to hide their affection for each other and were seen packing on the PDA and mingling with his A Complete Unknown costars.
Kylie and Timothée also recently sat courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game on April 30, which was held at Crypto.com Arena. While she dressed to the nines for this year’s Met Gala, they both opted for more casual looks for the NBA game.
Timothée wore a graphic T-Shirt that featured the late Kobe Bryant in his Lakers jersey to the game, which he paired with a checkered jacket, acid-washed black jeans and combat boots. Meanwhile, Kylie looked stylish in leather pants, a white tank top and snakeskin boots.
Despite having a relatively private relationship, sources have revealed that Kylie and Timothée are very serious about each other.
In January, an insider exclusively told Life & Style that the Kardashians star hopes to start a family with her boyfriend. The source revealed that she would “100 percent love” to have children with Timothée, adding, “If their stars are aligned the way Kylie says they are, it could happen soon.”
“It’s hard to believe Kylie and Timothée have been together for two years, especially when you consider what different worlds they come from,” the insider continued at the time. “Certainly no one in his life expected them to go the distance, everyone assumed it was just a fling. But they’re proving the critics totally wrong.”
More recently, an additional source exclusively revealed to Life & Style just how close Timothée is with Kylie’s children. She shares daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex Travis Scott.
“He took to them instantly,” the source revealed about the Wonka star’s bond with her children. “Timmy reads book with the kids and lets them climb all over him.”
The insider added that Timothée has been known to spoil Kylie’s children with their mother’s permission. “Timothée brings Aire car toys because he knows he loves them, and he always has a treat for Stormi, sometimes a new doll to add to her collection,” the source shared. “A lot of guys would be intimidated dating a woman with young kids, but Timmy fits right in. Kylie feels so lucky!”
