Malika Haqq Snaps a Sweet Selfie With Newborn Ace in a Baby Carrier: ‘Gettin’ Ish Done’
Motherhood is all about multitasking! Malika Haqq took to her Instagram Story on Monday, April 27, to share a sweet mirror selfie with her newborn son, Ace Flores, whom she shares with ex O.T. Genasis. “Gettin’ ish done,” the longtime reality TV star, 37, captioned the snapshot.
As it happens, Malika has been very active on social media since giving birth to Ace in March. The famous twin often interacts with other moms on Instagram for support. On April 23, Malika shared a gorgeous photo of herself soaking up some sunshine with the caption, “Doing my best, to say the least,” along with a sleepy emoji.
Of course, plenty of her followers chimed in with words of encouragement. “Don’t be hard on yourself. Being a first-time mom is overwhelming. Follow your heart and mind — and enjoy every moment. It goes by so fast,” one user commented.
“Trying,” Malika replied, adding a prayer hand emoji. As for coparenting with O.T. Genasis? Malika teased on Twitter what it’s been like raising a child with her ex after BFF Khloé Kardashian shared her own insights.
“Coparenting is a different beast,” KoKo, 35, wrote, referring to her own struggles with Tristan Thompson. “Ain’t it,” Malika replied. Even so, Malika is so happy to finally be a mom.
“I listen to my heart, and I’ve decided that the rest of my life will be the best of my life. I’m pregnant!” she gushed in September 2019. “I didn’t know when, I just knew one day. God said it’s my turn, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the little spirit that grows inside of me. I am yours, baby, and you are mine.”
When it comes to baby no. 2, however, Malika is pumping the breaks. She told a fan that she doesn’t miss being pregnant “at the moment,” adding, “I’ve got my hands full.” You sure do, girl!
