Miley Cyrus Wishes Liam Hemsworth a Happy 10-Year Anniversary By Slamming Split Rumors
Going strong! Miley Cyrus celebrated her 10-year anniversary with Liam Hemsworth by slamming split rumors. The singer is here to say that she’s sick of the gossip that’s been happening for literally the entirety of her relationship. The outspoken artist and her hubby are doing A-OK and she used her signature humor to prove it.
“Happy 10-year anniversary my love,” the 26-year-old wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, June 11, alongside a screengrab of an article that addressed “split rumors” between the two. “Good to see everyone is as dumb as they were in 2009! Some things never change … [and] I hope the way you feel about me is one of them. Yours truly.”
The A-list stars, who officially tied the knot in December 2018, are obviously going strong. The Isn’t It Romantic actor just jetted off to Europe to celebrate Miley’s release of She Is Coming and the pop star gushed over how happy she was to have her “most special person” by her side.
When it came to walking down the aisle, Liam had no doubts. “We’ve been through so much together over the last 10 years, so [I] felt like it was time,” the stud explained on Sunday TODAY back in February about why they decided to lock things down. “I feel really happy and really fortunate to be with such a great person.”
The feeling is totally mutual between the husband and wife. “I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that is why you pair up with someone — for survival — and he was so incredible,” Miley told Howard Stern in December about Liam going above and beyond when their house tragically burned down during the California wildfires. “He got all the animals out in his truck — he put two pigs in crates. I said, ‘How did you get them out?’ and he said the only thing he could do was get a really powerful hose and sprayed them in the ass. So, he just chased the pigs into the crate — which was genius.”
