Penelope Disick Brings Aunt Khloé Kardashian Fruit Because She’s Sick and It’s the Sweetest Thing
So thoughtful! Khloé Kardashian took to her Instagram Story to prove that her niece Penelope Disick is the best caretaker ever. The 7-year-old brought her 35-year-old aunt some fruit in hopes that they help her get rid of her cold.
“Hi Koko, I brought fruits for you,” Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s daughter said while holding a basket full of pomegranates, oranges and grapefruits. At one point, P coughed, which prompted the Good American founder to ask her niece how the cold started. “Who did I get sick from?” Khloé asked Penelope. “Reign [Disick]. That was Reign, though,” P said. “Then Reign got you sick,” Khlo told her.
We’re sure Penelope gets her love for fruits from her mama, who is into eating super healthy. The 40-year-old often uses her lifestyle blog, Poosh, to keep fans in the loop on what she likes to eat. In June, she confessed she was going keto. “My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months,” she wrote in a blog post shared in June. “In my experience, I’ve found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat, and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet.”
“The basic idea behind ketosis is pretty simple — eat more fat and very few carbs,” Kourt wrote. As for what does Kourtney like to eat during the keto diet? “Minimal carbs and no grains, beans or legumes,” she admitted. “I’m focusing my meals on fresh vegetables and lean proteins. I eat three meals a day with no snacking in between if possible.”
Based on how well the mom of three takes care of herself, we wouldn’t be surprised if Penelope and Kourt’s two sons, Mason and Reign, grow up to be the same way. After all, the Kar-Jenners kids seem to take on after their parents even from an early age. For instance, when it comes to fashion, North West and Kim Kardashian are equally passionate.
“My Northie girl is the ultimate fashionista!” Kim captioned a photo of the 6-year-old rockin’ a bold outfit in August. “She comes with me to fabric stores and picks out what she likes and for our Japan trip, I let her style herself.” Yes, girl!
