Pregnant Katy Perry Flaunts Baby Bump While Doing a Good Deed

How kind! Pregnant Katy Perry was seen handing a homeless man money and flaunting her baby bump while out in Los Angeles on Saturday, May 23.

The singer, 35, was rockin’ a loose-fitted dress that perfectly put her growing baby bump on display. She accessorized her outfit with shades and a head wrap. Of course, she was cautious and made sure to step out with a mask amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Katy, who’s expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, is having a hard time adjusting to the lockdown. “In the past, I’ve been a perfectionist slash control freak, and all perfectionist slash control freaks are spiraling right now,” she told radio.com on May 21. “And planners are spiraling. So, I’m spiraling a little bit, like, every day. But I also chalk it up to the uncertainty of being pregnant for the first time and having a child and not knowing [the future].”

The soon-to-be mom previously spoke candidly about possibly not having a baby shower or babymoon. Naturally, this has been a stressful time for the pop star, who hasn’t been able to relax because of the pregnancy. “I know I should meditate. I know I should talk to my therapist,” she added. “I don’t get the opportunity just to, like, have a glass of wine right now if I’ve reached a certain point of, ‘Oh, my God, this is way too much, I cannot handle this, I’ll have a glass.’ It’s a real, real time for me. I feel all the feelings.”

One positive thing that has come out of quarantine is how much closer she and her beau have become. Katy and Orlando, 43, are “happy to be spending some quality ‘couple time’ in self-isolation,” a source exclusively told Life & Style, adding the pair bond over cooking and watching Netflix together.

This is Katy’s first time being a mom, which is super exciting. Orlando, on the other hand, is already dad to son Flynn, whom he shares with ex Miranda Kerr. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is especially looking forward to giving his 9-year-old a sibling so he has someone to play with, another source previously told Life & Style. Family goals!
