Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Have the Sweetest Nickname for Baby Archie: ‘Our Little Pumpkin’
Though it seems like Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan (née Markle) didn’t celebrate Halloween, they did give royal fans a treat when they revealed what they like to call their son, Archie. Brace yourselves because it’s pretty darn cute.
The power couple referred to their 5-month-old as “little pumpkin” in an Instagram post shared on Thursday, October 31. “Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin 🎃) to yours,” the duo captioned a throwback photo, in which they reminded followers how they previously spent Halloween.
“This time last year The Duke and Duchess attended a special effects workshop while on their royal tour in New Zealand!” the post continued. October 2018 was such a special month for the former actress, 38, and her husband, 35, because it was also when they announced they were expecting their first child.
Now it’s been over a year, and the pair are loving everything about parenthood. They each share a unique bond with their son — especially the duke. “When Harry goes off to do his own thing, Archie will squeal with excitement when he sees him again,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “He’s a real daddy’s boy, but you can tell he also loves his mom.”
In addition, Archie also looks a lot like his dad. When Meghan, Harry and Archie visited Africa during their royal tour in October, fans couldn’t help but compare photos of Archie with baby pics of his father. It’s safe to say these two are basically twinning.
When it comes to Harry’s relationship with his wife, things couldn’t seem better. If anything, he’s constantly proving why he’s Prince Charming. “Harry’s got a huge heart and loves seeing Meghan’s face light up when he surprises her with romantic gestures,” another source exclusively revealed to Life & Style. “Beautiful bouquets of peonies, candlelit suppers, rose petals in the bathtub. They don’t necessarily need to be pricey. It’s the thought that counts.” How sweet!
Harry also shows his affection to the Suits alum by lending an extra hand with Archie. “Even though they have a nanny, Harry’s very much a hands-on dad and spends every free minute with his son,” the insider added. He’s husband and dad of the year!
