It's hard to believe that Prince William and Kate Middleton's "Wedding of the Century" took place five years ago today. As they celebrate their anniversary, we look back at the moments they've replicated from Prince Charles and Princess Diana's marriage.
During their whirlwind tour of India and Bhutan in April 2016, William and Kate went to the Taj Mahal, where they posed in front of the monument's long reflecting pool on the bench that became known as Lady Di's Chair following her visit in February 1992.

Engagement Announcement
In February 1981, Lady Diana got engaged to Charles, who proposed to her with a 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire ring. William presented Kate with the exact same ring in October 2010 during a 10-day trip in Kenya. Kate even wore a blue dress (like Diana!) when posing for photos following the announcement.

The Birth of Their First Child
Kate and William debuted Prince George on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital's Lindo Wing in July 2013 — the same hospital where Wills was born in June 1982! Kate even paid tribute to Diana by wearing a similar polka-dot dress.

Trip to Australia
When Prince William and Kate Middleton took a few photographs in front of the Uluru — formerly known as Ayers Rock — in the Australian Outback during their April 2014 tour, many people were reminded of the time Charles and Diana posed there in March 1983.
