Rachel Lindsay Is in ‘Rush Mode’ To Prepare For Wedding: ‘I’m Looking at Dresses Next Week!’
Wedding bells are quickly approaching for former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay and her fiancée, Bryan Abasolo. The reality starlet shared exclusive details with Life and Style about how she’s working hard to plan for her big day. She is also about to check off a very important box on her to-do list — dress shopping!
“So, I start looking at wedding dresses next week … with Bryan’s mom, my mom and my sisters,” the 33-year-old revealed on March 13 during WE tv’s Bridezillas Fashion Show in NYC to celebrate the season 12 premiere. “We kind of are in rush mode at this point because I decided that I wanted to plan a wedding in six months. Now, it’s five months.”
Rachel and Bryan will walk down the aisle during a fabulous destination wedding, which she has yet to disclose the location of, this upcoming summer. The Texas native divulged that she is still working to finalize all the loose ends. “Once we solidify all the details with the venue, then my wedding planner says … everything’s going to hit the ground running,” she confessed.
As for her wedding day look, the lawyer admits that it will be “different than what people would expect to see me in.” Until now, she’s been extremely open about wanting a non-tradition outfit for her nuptials but she’s keeping an open mind. “I’ve been preaching this pantsuit, which I totally want, but after talking to Randi Rahm and just, like, really kind of her telling me what would be different and what would stand out to Bryan and what you can’t see on a red carpet … I thought, ‘You know what, that’s what I want.'”
She continued to explain that she wants her dress to represent something special between her and her man. “I really want my dress to embody the softer side of me that most people don’t get to see. You see me as bold and confident and hard and sports and I’m a lawyer, but there’s another side of me that Bryan really knows and I kind of want my dress to embody that.”
No matter what she decides, Rachel is sure to look gorgeous!
