Scott Disick Is ‘Back on the Water’ Following His Vacation With Kourtney Kardashian and the Kids
He can’t get enough! Scott Disick shared he was “back on the water” following his vacation to Idaho with ex Kourtney Kardashian and their kids.
The 37-year-old took to his Instagram Stories on August 20 to post a selfie while hanging out on a yellow and red boat amongst other yachts and boats. He also shared two video clips of himself speeding away on the colorful cruiser. “100 mph,” he captioned the footage as his hair whipped in the wind.
It seems the Talentless founder wanted to bring some of that Idaho energy back to Los Angeles with him. Scott and the mother of his children, 41, were spotted enjoying some quality time together in the northwestern state along with their kids and some friends. Scott even shared some videos of Kourtney to his Instagram Stories while the former flames hung out on a boat during the trip.
The Flip It Like Disick star is “leaning on” the Poosh founder “more and more” since returning from his brief rehab stay in late April, an insider exclusively told Life & Style. “Their dynamic is that she likes to care for him and he depends on her for support.”
Scott checked himself into a Colorado facility to work on longstanding emotional trauma related to the deaths of his parents. Mother Bonnie Disick died in 2013 and his father, Jeffrey Disick, passed away months later in 2014. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians regular spent less than a week in treatment before photos of himself at the center surfaced online, prompting him to cut his time there short.
Since his return to Los Angeles, he and Kourt have “spent most of the summer together playing house” with their kids, Mason, Penelope and Reign, and enjoying family outings.
The coparents seemingly started spending more time together amid Scott’s breakup with longtime girlfriend Sofia Richie in late May. Less than two months later, Scott and Sofia, 21, reunited at a 4th of July party — but they put their relationship on hold for the second time on August 19.
“They were very happy together but Sofia could not handle his issues,” the source explained. “They were never cut out for the long term because he has too much baggage and has trouble opening up to anyone besides Kourtney. When he gets low, Kourtney is the only person he can turn to.”
