These two are on fire! Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello lit the stage aflame during their duet performance of “Señorita” during the 2019 American Music Awards on November 24. Needless to say, their chemistry was intense — and we really just couldn’t look away from the couple. Not for one second.

Camila wore a red dress with boots while she was on stage while Shawn showed off his biceps in a black vest. At the end, the two looked so in love as they shared a steamy moment on stage. However, the two left much to the imagination as they didn’t kiss — but were close! Even the brunette beauty’s friend Taylor Swift was hoping for a cute interaction as she couldn’t believe how intense their connection was.

It’s no surprise to see these two getting handsy during a performance of their hit single. In fact, back in August, the couple performed the song together during the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards — and obviously, they turned the temperature up several notches with their on stage sex appeal.

The pop stars belted to each other on a candle-lit stage, wearing matching white outfits as they got close to one another. They didn’t actually kiss during the performance but the singers stroking each other and rubbing noses during the set definitely made the song feel that much more intimate.

At the time, the pair were still rumored to be seeing one another — but they weren’t doing much to hide that fact. Since early July, they had been spotted packing on the PDA in several cities but were mum about the actual nature of their relationship.

Fast forward to a week after the VMAs: Shawn, 21, called their supposed fling a “relationship” for the first time during a backstage Q&A session with fans in Connecticut. “Honestly, I wanna say I wanna talk to you guys about this stuff but it’s not just me in the relationship! There’s another person involved. I can’t say things that I feel,” he told the group. “It’s not just me deciding, you know?”

Not long after Shawn labeled their connection, the former Fifth Harmony member, 22, told Elle that she wanted to keep the specifics of her relationship with the Canadian crooner sacred in order to “protect” it.

“I don’t know; people can say whatever they want to say. They can speculate, but at the same time, we are going to live our own lives, enjoy it, and fall for each other like nobody is watching,” she explained to the outlet for their Women In Music cover story. “That is how I want to live. I never want to open the door for people to feel like they are involved. Like I said, I want it to be mine and [his]. That’s why I’m so tight-lipped about it: because I want to protect it.”

Thanks for letting us in, guys — especially on nights like tonight!
