Sofia Richie Shares Sweet Snapshots From Her ‘Mom and Daughter Cook Day’ — See What They Made!
If you happen to follow Sofia Richie on Instagram, then you already know that the 20-year-old model is basically a culinary wizard — ahem, her salads are “fire” — so, what better way to celebrate Mother’s Day than to put her cooking skills to good use? On Sunday, May 12, Sofia and her mama, Diane Alexander, stepped out for a day of grocery shopping followed by some baking. Pretty cute, right?
“Mom and daughter cook day,” Sofia captioned the first sweet snapshot of her gorgeous mom, 51, perusing the produce aisle. “Cake, cake, cake, cake, cake,” she captioned the second picture. Solid Rihanna reference, girl. We’re so glad that Sofia got to spend some quality time with the woman who gave her life! After all, that’s what the special day is all about.
As mentioned, this is hardly the first time that Sofia has boasted about her culinary prowess online. In fact, Scott Disick’s ladylove absolutely adores being a homemaker. So much so, that despite the pair’s 15-year age difference, it’s actually Sofia who keeps things running smoothly in Scott’s life and humble abode.
“He’s never out getting too out of control and that’s because Sofia has created a stable life for him,” a source recently told Life & Style of the couple’s positive dynamic. “She loves to plan outdoor adventures for the two of them, like an early evening hike or order in sushi or go to low-key date nights and watch movies.”
Clearly, the soon-to-be fashion designer was raised right. “Sofia will make sure that his house is stocked with things like toilet paper or paper towels and toothpaste,” the source continued. “She doesn’t look at it as a job, she loves taking care of him.”
