Summer House’s Lindsay Accuses Carl of Being a ‘Cheater’ Before Their Split: ‘Monster’
Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard accused her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke, of being a “cheater” before they called off their engagement.
During the Wednesday, April 2, episode of Summer House, Carl’s latest love interest, Lil, explained that she met him back in the summer of 2023. The revelation sparked suspicions about their timeline among his costars, as he was still in a relationship with Lindsay, 38, at the time.
“He met, like, my whole family because my dad always goes to NYCFC games. Then they became buddies,” Lil said about Carl while attending his Soft Bar friends and family event, which was held in the summer of 2024. “And then I slid into his DMs.”
Lindsay’s close friend Gabby Prescod then asked for clarification on their timeline by saying, “That was last summer, right?”
While Lil attempted to avoid the question, Imrul Hassan said that Carl, 40, had “kinda known [Lil] for a year at least.” As fans of the reality show know, Carl and Lindsay split in late August 2023.
“Last summer? When Lindsay and Carl were still very much engaged, he met your parents and then you slid into his DMs? That’s suspicious,” Gabby, 34, said in a confessional following the interaction.
Gabby later filled Lindsay in on the update about Carl and Lil’s timeline, and the former publicist said it was suspicious that her ex first met Lil when they were still engaged.
“There was one morning the last week of us being together. After the soccer game and before we broke up,” Lindsay recalled of the August 2023 events. “I went into his room, gave him a hug and on his phone, he had a DM open where somebody was sending their phone number. He swiped out of the DM immediately. … Now it’s all making sense to me.”
After she pointed out that Carl called off their engagement in August 2023, she called him out for acting like he was the “victim” when he could have possibly already sparked a connection with Lil.
“Meanwhile, bitch, you’ve been talking to a girl since before you broke up with me. So, you are once again gaslighting everyone, manipulating everyone,” Lindsay alleged about Carl. “You’re a f–king fraud, you’re a phony, you’re a liar and now I’m adding cheater to your f–king resume.”
Lindsay also speculated that Carl knew Lil was a romantic option for him when he broke up with Lindsay. “You knew [your plan]! You were already talking to someone and her parents,” she claimed.
Despite Lindsay’s suspicions that Carl was already talking to someone new before their split, neither Carl nor Lil commented on if their relationship was flirtatious or romantic during his engagement to Lindsay.
Meanwhile, Carl and Lil are only getting to know each other during the current season 9 of Summer House. Carl had been very open about the lack of romantic interests since his split from Lindsay, and he previously implied that he did not cheat with Lil when he claimed during a recent episode that he had not had sex with anyone since Lindsay.
