Taylor Swift Continues End of U.S. Leg of Eras Tour Tradition With Celebratory Glass of Wine
Bottom’s up! Taylor Swift celebrated her final U.S. show of her Eras world tour with a glass of wine as soon as she left the stage.
The “Down Bad” singer, 34, played her final concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Sunday, November 3. She grabbed a glass of what appeared to be a chilled white wine, raising it up to cheering fans as she walked backstage.
“Congrats Taylor!!! You deserve it,” one fan wrote in the comments of an X post also showing how the Grammy winner also did the same gesture on the final night of her first Eras tour U.S. leg, when she exited the stage at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium on August 9, 2023.
“An iconic end to an iconic tour! Taylor’s tradition lives on!” another fan added in the comments about Taylor’s wine drinking celebration, as one user noted, “Her leaving with a drink in hand, keeping up her tradition from last.”

When Taylor departed the stage at SoFi, she took a sip of wine, blew kisses and shared other warm gestures with Swifties, who captured the moment on video.
The “Karma” singer now heads to Toronto, Canada, where she will play six nights between November 14 and 23, before ending the Eras world tour in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.
Taylor’s final shows on U.S. soil were memorable ones, as boyfriend Travis Kelce made an appearance at her Saturday night show on November 2. It was the Kansas City Chiefs star’s last chance to see his girlfriend’s Eras tour, as his team’s schedule conflicted with her previous dates in Miami, Florida, and New Orleans, Louisiana, as it will with her Canadian shows.
Since the Chiefs are hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday Night Football on Monday, November 4, Travis, 35, didn’t have a Sunday game and was able to quickly fly in and out of Indianapolis for Taylor’s show. He was seen in fan videos shared on X arriving and departing the VIP tent. Travis was also shown dancing along as Taylor performed “So High School” from The Tortured Poets Department, which she wrote about their relationship.
The Ohio native admitted he missed seeing Taylor in concert after his brother, Jason Kelce, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, their two oldest daughters and mom Donna Kelce attended one of Taylor’s Miami Eras tour shows.
“Well, I had all the FOMO in the world with the entire family and a lot of our friends being there,” Travis said during the October 23 episode of the siblings’ “New Heights” podcast. “I had a bunch of friends that were also down by the stage, that had been to a few shows overseas, and they were saying the same thing that you’re saying. The Miami stadium was just on another level.”
While Travis has attended Eras tour shows in Asia, Australia, South America and Europe, the only other time he saw Taylor perform in the U.S. was at her Kansas City, Missouri, tour stop in July 2023. That was when the Super Bowl champ famously tried and failed to pass along his phone number to the “Cruel Summer” singer via a friendship bracelet.
He relayed the story about how hurt he was during an episode of the “New Heights” podcast later that month. Taylor and Travis got in touch and their romance blossomed soon after that. She attended her first Kanas City Chiefs game to cheer on Travis on September 24, 2023.
The “Willow” songstress admitted that the NFL star’s podcast call-out was what sparked their relationship during a December 2023 interview with Time magazine.
“This all started when Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell,” she confessed.
“We started hanging out right after that. So, we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple,” Taylor revealed. “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game. We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
