Fans Think Taylor Swift’s Ring Has Her BF Joe Alwyn’s Initials on It and We’re Here for It
It’s not a chain around her neck but it looks like Taylor Swift is wearing Joe Alwyn‘s initials on a ring around her finger. The singer was captured rocking what seemed to be a huge nod to her actor beau during the wrap party for her upcoming movie, Cats.
The singer, 29, took a quick selfie with one of her costars from the flick Eric Underwood while celebrating at White City House, a members-only club in London. The Reputation songstress dressed appropriately to the theme of the event in a cheetah print ensemble with her hair up and a bold red lip. On the middle finger of her left hand, a delicate gold ring looks like it says “JA” on it.
“THE RING,” one fan commented about the accessory while someone else added, “I am officially NOT DEALING with this.” However, an eagle-eyed Swifty noted, “It’s not JA, it’s her angel wings ring.” It’s hard to tell what shape the dainty piece of jewelry is but fans are here for some social media PDA between the blonde duo.
The couple seems to be pretty serious about each other since first being connected back in 2017. They have even sparked engagement rumors. “Her parents love Joe,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly about Taylor’s parents greenlighting her relationship with the U.K. native while noting that his “family adores her” just as much. “The two have everyone’s blessing,” the insider added.
It looks like it’s the real deal! “Taylor really believes Joe is the one for her,” a source previously told the outlet. “She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn’t feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point.”
Besides working on her acting chops, Cats gave Taylor the opportunity to work closer to her man’s home base of England. She’s set to star as Bombalurina in the on-screen adaptation of the famed musical. Other huge names like Idris Elba, Judi Dench and Ian McKellen will also appear in the movie.
It’s no secret that the “Delicate” songbird loves her feline friends but it will be amazing to see her actually playing a cat on the big screen. The musical is about “a tribe of cats called the Jellicles.” According to IMDb, they “must decide yearly which one will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new Jellicle life.” Can’t wait!
