The next step just might be a proposal! Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriendJoe Alwyn, have been sparking engagement rumors for quite a while now, so we can’t say we’re not thrilled to hear that the couple’s parents are just as excited as we are for potential nuptials. According to Us Weekly, both Taylor and Joe’s families have officially given their approval to the couple, should they decide to take things to the next level. Hint hint.

“Her parents love Joe,” an insider revealed about the 29-year-old’s family, while noting the 28-year-old actor’s “family adores her” just as much. The source added that should the couple want to make any marriage moves in the near future, “the two have everyone’s blessing.”

We know by “everyone,” they mean their families, but they also have our blessing, too. Just sayin’.

“Taylor really believes Joe is the one for her,” a source previously told the outlet. “She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn’t feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point.”

In the two years that the duo has been together, that’s one of the best things we’ve heard about their relationship. Being so deep in the spotlight like Tay is, it must be hard to not feel like the entire world is a stage at all times. It’s clear that being with Joe makes her feel like she doesn’t need to “perform” in her personal life.

“Joe feels privileged that he gets to be with Taylor,” the insider added. “And he is happy being out of the spotlight.” The couple has been known for keeping their relationship mostly on the DL since they got together back in 2017. We definitely think they like it that way, though we’d love to see a few more cute hand-holding pics every now and again.

“Joe is very keen on proposing soon,” another insider told Us. “But he wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special.”

With the family seal of approval on the milestone moment, we’re gonna need you to hurry it up just a bit, Joe!
