Rejoice, Sabrina fans! The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns to Netflix for season 2 on Friday, April 5. So, what can we expect? Don’t worry, we got you.

NOTE: DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU AREN’T UP TO DATE.

How Many Episodes Will There Be?

According to Deadline, Netflix ordered 20 episodes. Since season 1 had 10 episodes, plus the Christmas special, season 2 should have nine episodes. Here are some of the titles in case you want to figure out the ~hidden meaning~ behind any: “The Epiphany,” “The Passion of Sabrina Spellman,” “Lupercalia” and “Doctor Cerberus’s House of Horror.”

What’s the Biggest Difference Between Season 1 and 2?

“The first 10 episodes [from last year] are the setup,” Kiernan Shipka — who plays the lead character Sabrina Spellman — told Entertainment Weekly. “It’s one big ramp-up to what the second part is, which is chaotic and massive. The stakes are higher, and everything is intensified times 100. The boiling point is reached in the second season.”

How Has Signing the Book of the Beast Changed Sabrina?

Fans recall that at the end of the season 1 finale, Madame Satan (Michelle Gomez) convinces Sabrina to sign the Book of the Beast to gain the power to take down the Greendale Thirteen — witches who were scarified by the coven and hanged by mortals. During the entire first season, Sabrina is adamant about not signing her life over to the Dark Lord.

So, where does she stand now? “She signed the Book of the Beast because she literally had to,” Kiernan, 19, said. “Now, she’s using it to her advantage. But I don’t think that her agenda is ever going to include submitting to the Dark Lord. That’s not in her DNA. Sabrina’s not evil.”

What’s Going to Happen Between Sabrina and Harvey?

In the trailer, Sabrina is spotted with Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood). As of now, it doesn’t seem like she is going to get back together with her high school beau, Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch). “Nick champions Sabrina in a way Harvey couldn’t because [Harvey’s] not a warlock, and he doesn’t understand witchcraft,” the blonde beauty revealed. “Nick is enthralled with Sabrina and her powers, and that gives her the incentive to explore them more. They’re a team. They’re partners in crime.” As of right now, “Nick makes sense for Sabrina this season,” she said, but it doesn’t mean that that can’t change!

How Many More Seasons Will There Be?

As of now, Netflix renewed the show for two more seasons. There will be 16 more episodes that will be divided into season 3 and 4. “[The] Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been renewed for 16 more episodes! Production begins next year and the next batch will air in two parts: Parts 3 & 4,” a tweet said about the show.

Will There Be New Characters?

Yes! Alexis Denisof will play Mary Wardwell’s boyfriend Adam Masters. Adam has no clue that his girlfriend’s body is occupied by Madam Satan now, welp. Additionally, Jedidiah Goodacre will play a warlock named Dorian Gray. Dorian owns a club called Dorian Gray’s Room and is described as “an enigmatic gentleman of an indeterminate age and is very good at keeping secrets.”

Will There Be a Riverdale/Sabrina Crossover?

Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa hinted at the possibility of a crossover. “I think once [season 2] is behind us, I think we’ll be able to really investigate and have the conversations about this,” he told The Wrap. “That’s my hope at least.”
