Girl Uncle! Travis Kelce Reacts to Jason and Kylie’s Pregnancy News: ‘Go for the Starting 5’
Girl uncle Travis Kelce reacted to the news that his brother, Jason Kelce, and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, are expecting their fourth child, daughter No. 4, together.
“I think four beautiful little girls is very magical. I think it’s awesome, man,” Travis, 35, said on the Wednesday, November 27, episode of the brothers’ “New Heights” podcast. “You can always go for the starting five though. Just fill the midfield, you know.”
Jason, 37, joked that he is “very good at producing little girls,” adding, “We are very very excited about welcoming another child to our already chaotic household.”
“Obviously, super excited. I just love my daughters so much. The fact that we’re gonna be getting another one is beyond exciting,” he said. “I think, we’ll see. This might be it. This might be the last hurrah.”
The former NFL center revealed that he and his wife, 32, were originally not on the same page about how many children they wanted. Jason “always said three,” while Kylie’s end goal was five children.
Kylie announced the exciting news in a November 22 Instagram post.
“I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page,” she shared alongside an adorable photo of the couple’s three daughters, Elliotte, Wyatt and Bennett.
Travis wasn’t the only family member to rejoice in the news of baby No. 4, however. Uncle Travvy’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, subtly reacted to the news by “liking” Kylie’s Instagram post, while Travis and Jason’s mom, Donna Kelce, commented, “Love it!!!”
The excited news comes just four months after the mother of three shut down pregnancy rumors via TikTok in July.
“I have kept my mouth shut on this for quite some time now and my lack of filter is kicking in and we’re just gonna nip this in the bud,” she said sternly. “I have had a number of articles written about me since the middle of last football season stating that I am pregnant. I’m not, I haven’t been pregnant since I gave birth to Benny [Bennett] and she is almost a year and a half old.”
Kylie went on to say that rumors surrounding the “sensitive topic” of pregnancy “really lights [her] fire” due to a past miscarriage prior to welcoming eldest daughter Wyatt, 5.
“I went in for my 13-week ultrasound. There was no heartbeat and I had to have a DNE a few days later. So, I do not take getting pregnant or trying to get pregnant lightly,” she continued. “And I think that this, we need to just be in agreement that this is not a topic that anyone needs to be first on reporting. Let the parents say it when they’re good and ready.”
She ended her rant with “let’s do better.”
Kylie and Jason tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed daughter Wyatt the following year. Middle daughter Elliotte was born in March 2021, followed by daughter No. 3, Bennett, in February 2023.
