Welcome to Plathville’s Lydia Plath Marries Zac Wyse in Georgia Wedding 2 Months After Engagement

Wedding bells are ringing for Welcome to Plathville star Lydia Plath, who married fiancé Zac Wyse just two months after announcing their engagement.

The reality TV personality, 21, married the former Colorado resident in a wedding on her family’s farm in Georgia on February 22, People reported on Sunday, February 23. The blue-themed ceremony had 115 guests in attendance, all of whom witnessed the couple share their first kiss at the altar.

“The discipline it has taken to save our first kiss for the wedding day is an example of the commitment we have for each other going into our marriage,” Zac told the outlet.

The farm, which was featured on Welcome to Plathville, held special meaning as the couple’s venue, as they “wanted to create new memories on top of the many memories Lydia had growing up there.” Lydia and Zac also chose to keep the wedding on the smaller side in favor of focusing on their “union.”

“We envisioned a time to celebrate our union with our close communities coming together,” Zac continued. “Neither of us wanted to get caught up in the details we won’t remember for the years to come. So we’ve tried to keep our focus on what our purpose for this day is, our union before God, our friends, and family.”

Lydia looked radiant in a white gown with a lace bust and a flowy train with matching short sleeves.

“What made me choose this dress was how it fit my personality,” she told People. “It wasn’t just my choice but many people who were there when I tried it on agreed that the dress was very much me. It’s a dress that makes me feel free and graceful.”

Lydia later concluded of the wedding, “This day couldn’t have happened without everyone who just gave so much, and I’ve been blown away by the beauty of it all. It was so much better than I could ever have imagined.”

The daughter of Kim Plath and Barry Plath first teased her romance with Zac in October 2024 by sharing a photo of their hands intertwined with the caption, “Happy national boyfriend day! You’re a blessing from the Lord and have brought so much joy to my life! I can’t wait to see what the future holds!”

While the TLC star didn’t identify her man at the time, she later revealed that it was Zac in November 2024 by sharing photos of his face and tagging his Instagram account.

“Words can’t describe how grateful I am the Lord has brought you into my life!” she captioned the post. “You never cease to amaze me with the adventures we go on, supporting me in every high and low, and overflowing every moment with joy as we pursue the Lord together.”

Wasting no time, the couple got engaged less than one month later.

“The moment we were in each other’s arms we were overwhelmed with all the emotions that led us to this moment where all we could feel was pure joy for the commitment we were about to make,” Lydia told People in December 2024, announcing that she had accepted Zac’s marriage proposal.

As they prepared to take the next step in their relationship, Lydia and Zac told the outlet that they read The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy Keller ahead of their nuptials in order to get to know each other better.

“This process is called sanctification where you both carry each other and push each other to choose love even when it’s hard,” Zac explained. “We look forward to learning about what that looks like in our relationship as we grow in our new love together.”

Now, Lydia and Zac — who will move in together in Tallahassee, Florida — are looking forward to “learning and growing each and every day” and “building a rhythm of life together.”
