Caelynn Miller-Keyes Admits Blake Horstmann ‘Is Not Her Favorite Person’ on ‘BiP’ Premiere
Let the drama begin! On the Monday, August 5, episode of Bachelor in Paradise, Caelynn Miller-Keyes admitted that she and Blake Horstmann were involved in a previous relationship. When the 24-year-old spoke to Chris Harrison before she went down to the beach, she confessed she is “really happy right now.”
However, the blonde beauty said she was dating someone before she went to Mexico. “Blake is not my favorite person,” she told the host, and she continued to say it did not end well.
“Blake and I talked for a few months, and it was really great, but he played me and that sucked,” she said. “I really did struggle, and he hurt me. If he is here, I just want to clear it up and I am hopeful that Blake will man up.” Caelynn introduced herself to everyone, and Blake seemed like he was a little freaked out that his former flame was there.
The 30-year-old handsome hunk was a hot commodity between the women, and the Virginia native was not too happy about it. “Blake sucks,” she said. “All the girls are saying what a great guy he is, but we were seeing each other, it was an exclusive thing. He made it clear that he’s not interested in me, that I was a mistake, and he never apologized. That’s hurtful to me.”
In April, Caelynn and Blake saw each other at the Stagecoach Music Festival. “We spent the night together, and I woke up in his bed, and he’s DMing Hannah Godwin,” she said. “I’m in his bed, he’s talking about how hot Tayshia Adams is. And then he’s like, ‘Just do you know, I hooked up with Kristina Schulman the night before.’ He calls me two weeks ago and is like, ‘No one can know about us. We have to lie our asses off in Paradise.‘ He wants to protect his image.”
The Colorado native ended up going on a date with Tayshia during the premiere — everyone thought he was going to pick Hannah — but it seems like Caelynn is going to expose Blake for the true player she thinks he is. “All these women are throwing themselves at him,” she shared. “It f–king sucks. Before Paradise, Blake and I, we hooked up and he wants no one to know. He played me and that hurt me. I’m done lying for him because secrets suck.”
The drama didn’t end there, though. As the episodes aired, Blake took to Instagram to address the allegations. “I want to get the truth out,” he wrote on Tuesday, August 6, after admitting he’s made “a lot of mistakes” over the past year. “I was not able to defend myself down in paradise because [I] and most of the beach had no idea the things Caelynn was saying in her interviews. … Caelynn and I were NEVER in a relationship. I NEVER ghosted Caelynn, I NEVER called her a mistake and I absolutely NEVER, EVER, EVER silenced Caelynn.”
On his Instagram Story, he went on to share screenshots of alleged texts between the two of them where the former pageant queen seemingly propositioned him “strictly for sex” while at Stagecoach. “This is the last thing I wanted to do, but my name and character are being attacked,” he finished. “My name is all I have. Most of all, it is the only real way to prove that what is being said by Caelynn and the story that is being shown is far from the truth.”
