Wedding Date Locked Down? Fans Are Convinced J. Lo and A-Rod Just Spilled the Beans on Their Big Day
Will wedding bells be ringing soon for Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez? Maybe! J. Lo, 49, created speculation after she posted an Instagram photo with her beau, 43, on Wednesday, June 20, with a very cryptic caption that implies November 11 could be the big day.
“11:11,” she wrote alongside the pic of her kissing the former baseball player. The digital clock above them happens to be marked at that time, however, fans think it’s the couple’s way of teasing when they’re getting married. “Is that the wedding date?” commented one person. Another wrote, “11/11 wedding date!” One fan thinks the numbers signify the special bond the two share. “Master numbers, spiritual awakening, synchronicity, manifestation, twin flame,” they wrote. We can totally see that being true!
Jen and Alex first announced they were engaged on March 9, after two years of dating. Since then, they haven’t exactly confirmed when they’re planning to tie the knot. However, when the Yankees alum appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in April, Alex said they’re busy “still celebrating the engagement.”
The following month, the “On the Floor” crooner told ET that they’re taking their time with wedding planning. “There’s no rush. We really see this as something that’s gonna be forever, and we’re gonna just take our time and do it right. And do it not rushed.” She did confirm that they have begun thinking ahead about their nuptials, though, adding they’re “looking at everything,” including possible venues, but “only when I have time. Most of the time, I’m working.”
This will be Jennifer’s fourth marriage and Alex’s second. By the looks of it, they seemed to have gotten it completely right this time around. During a SiriusXM interview in April, the pop star gushed about the connection she shares with her fiancé.
“It’s great to have a best friend and a partner you can really build with, and I just feel like with Alex and I, that’s what it’s like,” she said at the time. “We’re both very similar.” We couldn’t be happier for these two!
