Becca Kufrin Proves She Has Good Taste With Her First Impression Rose
It looks like Becca Kufrin is getting her happily ever after on The Bachelorette — and is meeting some truly handsome guys along the way! Shortly after the world was introduced to her potential suitors, we’ve learned that the 28-year-old is happily engaged after her first engagement (to Arie Luyendyk Jr.) went so horribly wrong. Now that we her season has officially kicked off— we even have spoilers if you’re into that kind of thing… — we’re getting to know the guys, including the lucky suitor who apparently got the first rose of the seaon — Garrett Yrigoyen!
Garrett is the lucky guy who took home the first impression rose — aka the rose given to one stand-out guy (or girl on The Bachelor) after the first night, meaning they don’t have to worry about the anxiety of the first rose ceremony. Based off what we know about the 29-year-old so far, it looks like Becca has amazing taste!
According to his ABC bio, the Reno-based medical sales rep is a “true outdoorsman who loves fly fishing, hiking, and snowshoeing.” In addition to his love of the outdoors, he seems to have an awesome sense of humor — as his bio boasted about his Chris Farley impression and he did show up to the mansion in a mini-van. Reality Steve added that he played baseball at the University of Nevada, and was seemingly previously engaged (something he and Becca have in common).
But what does the getting the first impression rose really mean? For the recent batch of Bachelorettes, a lot actually! The three Bachelorettes most recent — Rachel Lindsay, JoJo Fletcher, and Kaitlyn Bristowe — all gave their first impression roses to the eventual winners/their fiancées, proving that, for many, first impressions really are everything! Fingers crossed this bodes well for Garrett — we wouldn’t mind seeing more of him in our lives!
