‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Mike Really Is *That* Gush-Worthy: Learn More About Him!
Stud alert! Bachelorette contestant Mike has been heating up our television screens for weeks and we’re not mad about it. Hannah Brown has a lot of standout guys this season and the Texas native has quickly become a Bachelor Nation favorite. So, is he actually a knight in shining armor or too good to be true? It sounds as though Mike is the real deal.
The 31-year-old is an Air Force veteran from San Antonio, Texas, who currently works as a portfolio manager. He describes himself as a “city boy who loves to get down and dirty,” according to his ABC bio. Fans (including singer Demi Lovato) quickly fell head-over-heels for the handsome fella because he’s shown that he loves to have fun but also keeps it very real with the contestants and this season’s leading lady.
He and the Alabama beauty would make a great pair if he’s able to make it to the finale, according to a source close to the contestant. “Mike likes women who are smart, know how to take care of themselves and are family oriented,” an insider dished exclusively to Life & Style. “Those are important factors to him … He really enjoys getting to know people; he’s a people person.”
His relationship with Hannah has been progressing quickly because of his openness to the process. During week 3, he surprisingly revealed that his ex got pregnant but suffered a miscarriage during her second trimester. “Today it reminded me of that, and it was my fault because I wasn’t there for her at the time,” he confessed to the former beauty queen after a group date to a baby class.
Mike has obviously learned a lot from his past and he sounds totally genuine about finding a spouse. “He is on the show to find love. He is open to these opportunities,” the source divulged. “I think he is ready for a relationship … He is ready to settle down as well. He is the type of guy that, if he commits to someone, he is all or nothing. So, I think he is ready for something special.”
