<p><span></span><a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=gladys knight&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><strong>Gladys Knight</strong></a> lost the competition on <a href="http://dynamic.bauerpublishing.com/mt-search.fcgi?blog_id=2&tag=dancing with the stars&limit=20&IncludeBlogs=2"><em>Dancing With the Stars</em></a> -- but she also lost something else: a lot of weight!</p>
"I started a program before I came here," the singer tells Life & Style. "I eat Freshology food. You eat healthy and put a little movement to it."
And it's working -- Gladys says she's lost 60 pounds so far! Her typical diet while on the show? "A power bar, a protein drink and some fruit. And I hydrate, hydrate, hydrate."
But with her busy dance-rehearsal schedule, "Tristan [MacManus] had to make me eat," she admits about her DWTS partner.
And the hours of dancing she's put in have paid off. Gladys shares how she plans to keep the pounds off: "I'm going to keep Tristan; he can come over and work me out!"
The Empress of Soul was eliminated, coincidentally, after Motown Week. She and Tristan had the lowest score, 24 points, and left after a jive-dance duel against Chelsie Hightower and Roshon Fegan.
